I was laid off from one of my bars, the one called Churchkey, within a week I was hired to work Saturday nights at a New Orleans themed bar called Old Devil Moon. I have also finally procured a solid three nights a week at Amnesia, those being Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
I bought an IPad Mini that I mated with an adorable mini keyboard case giving me a mini laptop so I can write anywhere without having to lug around and jeopardize my laptop. It’s all so mini, I think I’ll say mini a couple more times, mini.
In ten days I’ll be on a plane to Paris, as per my first foray in Europe, I’ll be there and in Belgium for ten days total. It’s been about two years since I’ve taken a proper vacation and am psyched and scared and nervous.
I’m thinking I write the most when I’m out of my element, and the other side of the planet might just kick start that for me.
